We installed a ground-mounted solar PV system at Burrigle Forse, creating a secure structure designed to suit the site and make the most of the available space. The ground-mount system allows the panels to be positioned at the right angle and orientation, while also keeping them easy to access for future maintenance. The structure was built to cope with the Scottish weather and provide a solid, long-term base for the solar array. A straightforward solution for a site where ro

We recently completed a solar PV installation for a community centre in Maybole. The system was designed around the building’s energy use and available roof space, with the aim of helping reduce electricity costs and make better use of renewable energy. The installation was planned and carried out with minimal disruption to the centre, followed by full testing and commissioning. It’s a good example of how solar PV can work well for community buildings as well as homes and com

We recently worked on a 40kW solar PV installation at a church and community hall in the Stirling area. The project involved 81 panels and came with some additional planning considerations because parts of the property are listed. This meant the installation had to be carefully planned around the building and the relevant Historic Environment Scotland requirements. Hill View Renewables worked as part of the wider project team to help deliver the installation safely and neatly
